Abstract :Academic procrastination is a behavior that should be avoided by students because it would give a bad influence, especially the academic achievement. One of the factors that lead to academic procrastination is lack of self-regulation in learning. Therefore, it is necessary for students to have self-regulated learning. This research aimed to test the self-regulated learning strategy to reduce the level of academic procrastination XI grade student of SMAN 1 Ngamprah of the academic year 2015/2016 West Bandung Regency. The method used is a quasi-experimental nonequivalent (pretest and posttest) control group design. Sampling was done by using purposive sampling technique. Instrument used is The Academic Procrastination State Inventory (APSI) developed by Henri C. Schouwenburg. The sample are 68 students whereas devided into experiment and control group. Data analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. Result shows that self-regulated learning are effective for lowering the level of academic procrastination. |

Abstract :This research aims to study about relationship between social support, self-efficacy and stress among housewives who have high education. Daily routine can lead stress on housewives. Social cognitive factors like social support and self-efficacy effect stress experience. Samples are 200 high educated housewives who don’t have a job. This research is having incidental sampling technique and using some scales for collecting data such as social support scale, self-efficacy scale, and stress scale. Data were analyzed using Multiple Regression Analysis. The results showed that there is a significant correlation between social support, self- efficacy and stress among high educated housewives with F = 2.197 and 0.00 significance (p <0.01). It means that the hypothesis proposed by the researchers that there is a correlation between social support, self-efficacy and stress are accepted. |

Abstract :On the development of law (rechtsbeoefening) both practical and theoretical, a scientist Law (academics and legal practitioners) often ignore the studies of the social aspects. In this case, a scientist Law (academics and legal practitioners) are trapped and confined on the nature of Legal Studies as a normative science. Thus, the development often collide in the level of practice of law in relation to the fulfillment of public sense of justice. In fact, the law enforcement authorities, especially police investigators, based on the pattern of education, obviously prefers cultural improvement of law and override the Legal Psychology. So, almost certainly, a police investigator in carrying out its duties and functions will never escape, in fact, are still stuck with the principle inquisatoir in examinations investigation. |

Abstract :This research aims to study the difference of hedonic consumption among syiah kuala university students in term of gender and faculties. The technique sampling used were purposive and quota sampling with 360 students consisted of 180 male and 180 female from 12 faculties. The data were collected using hedonic consumption scale constructed by researcher based on Hirschman and Holbrook theory (1982). Coefisien reliability of this research was (a)= 0,873. Hypothesis was tested by using Independent Sample T-Test which showed significance value 0,000 (p<0,05) and One Way Anova which showed significance value 0,000 (p<0,05). Result shows that there was different hedonic consumption between male and female students of Unsyiah in which female indicated higher hedonic consumption than male student. Besides, students of dentistry faculty indicated higher hedonic consumption than the other faculties.

Abstract :Having graduated not at the right time is a common phenomena among college students and procrastinantion which is delaying the final assignment become the reason. One of factors that affect procrastination is self-efficacy. Self-efficacy that is predicting academic achievement is academic self-efficacy. This research uses quantitative methods to examine the relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination among 210 students who are completing the last assignment. Instrument used are academic procrastination scale and academic self-efficacy scale. Result shows that there is no significant correlation between academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination among students who were completing the last assignment (r = -0.059, p = 0.398). Besides, academic procrastination had significant differences by age, gender, year of admission, residence, and activities. In the same time, the academic self-efficacy had differences by age, year in, obstacles and activities.

Abstract :This research aims to describe adversity quotient and its supporting factor among foreign students. Subjects are students from Thailand studying at State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research applied qualitative approach using phenomenology in order to obtain the meaning of adversity quotient. The result shows some themes which are (1) controlling the problems by following many organizations, association, and remembering the struggles of parents, (2) being responsible for completing assignment, (3) being capable to limit the issue so that will not interfere other activities, and (4 ) being able to survive by having principle that there always be an easiness for every difficulties. Factors influencing the adversity quotient are self-motivation and support from surrounding especially parents, confidence to finish college well, and individual characters. Characters like quiet, shy and not confidence inhibiting adversity quotient while friendly and easy going supporting the adversity quotient. |

Abstract :This research aims to study about correlation between parenting, religiusity and impulse buying among Bandung Islamic University students who join pesantren for bachelor candidate. This research used correlation research design involving 420 students of Bandung Islamic University who join pesantren for bachelor candidates of 2016. Subjects are between 18-21 years old from some faculties which are engineering, science, dakwah, communication, teacher training, ekonomics, law, syariah and psychology. Result shows that 328 students are in impulse buying category. However, parenting and religiusity are not significant variables effecting impulse buying phenomena. Further research suggested to deepen parenting variable since related to impulse buying behaviour.

Abstract :This research aims to study the effect of organizational culture toward employee work discipline at Directorate Production PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk Cilegon. The subjects of this research are 115 employees from several divisions at Directorate Production of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk Cilegon. The data were collected through cluster sampling technique. Instrument used are organizational culture scale, and work discipline scale. Data were analized using correlational test regression analysis technique. The result show that there is significant correlation of organizational culture for employee work discipline at Directorate Production PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk Cilegon. It is shown by correlation coefficient of regression analysis as R=0,534, with effective contribution R square (R2)= 0,285 or 28,5%, and significance level p = 0,000. Thus, it proves the hypothesis in this research is accepted.

Abstract :Academic Flow is a condition where person feel comfortable, able to concentrate, has inner motivation, and also able to enjoy doing academic activity. Self efficacy is believe inside someone has the ability to decide correct behavior to achieve desired success. Purpose of this research is to know the correlation between self efficacy and academic flow on student acceleration. Self efficacy is acknowledged as the trigger which pushes someone learning activity until they had flow condition. This research is correlational quantitative with a subject 24 acceleration students. The result of the study showed correlation between self efficacy and academic flow on acceleration students positive linear, which is mean the higher self efficacy the higher academic flow. High self efficacy able to control the behavior to maintain the effort to do the assignment which make easy to reach the academic flow. |

Abstract :Future orientation is formed as a result of interaction with the environment one of them teenage parents. The study aims to determine the effect balance relationship patterns of parent-adolescent to the orientation of future education in adolescents of Bandung city. The analysis technique used is the correlation analysis and logistic regression. The study use cluster sampling to obtain a sample of 358 students. The results showed that the balance relations on the dimensions of adaptability and cohesion have a greater influence on the clarity of the future orientation of youth education in Bandung. Balance relationship patterns of parent-adolescent balance has possibility of 16.181 times more clearly educational future compared with the balance of relationship patterns of parent-adolescent unbalance. Balance relationship patterns of parent-adolescent has possibility of 2.088 times more clearly educational future compared with the balance of relationship patterns of parent- adolescent to mid range category. |

Abstract :Sex education is the provision of information about sex that aims to reduce the potential risk of sexual behavior. This effort is still taboo in the community, so parents feel hesitant to provide teaching about sex to children. The purpose of this study is to determine the perception of parents to sex education provided to children from an early age. This research was conducted in Jambesari village, Poncokusumo, Malang by using phenomenology approach and involving 5 mothers. The results show that parents perceive sex education as taboo, vulgar and inappropriate to convey to children, thus affecting the involvement and form of education provided by parents to children. The results also show that the need for the competence of sexual education is important to be done by parents. |

Abstract :IPhone as one of the smartphone brand, is often regarded as a prestigious symbol for teenagers. In choosing goods, teenagers also pay attention to the symbolic value that they want to show. These symbols give a certain impact to their self-esteem among teenager. What about the non-iPhone user? The purpose of this study was to see the difference of self-esteem between iPhone users and non-iPhone users. The samples are the students in one of public high school at Garut. The design of this study is quantitative non-experimental with comparative method. The study compared two groups of teenagers: iPhone users (N = 25) and non-iPhone users (N = 39). All respondents filled out three questionnaires about IPhone Brand Image, Self-Esteem Questionnaire and Self-Esteem iPhone Ownership (SEiO) Questionnaire. The data obtained were tested by t-test on two groups. The results show that there are significant differences of self-esteem between two groups. |

Abstract :Pregnancy and childbirth are the natural and normal processes experienced by every woman. In the process of pregnancy and childbirth every woman undergoes both physical and psychological changes so that women need to be prepared before entering this stage. Those who are not ready will be more likely to experience postpartum blues. This study aimed to determine the psychological factors that affect postpartum blues. The method was quantitative correlational with purposive sampling technique. Participating mothers were 6 months postpartum (n=41). The research instruments were Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS), coping stress scale, social support scale, and adjustment scale. The data was analyzed by simple linear regression. The result of this study showed that from the three independent variables giving predictions the biggest influence on the emergence of postpartum blues were adjustment variable (56,3%), then coping stress (46,1%), and social support (30,2%). |

Abstract :This study aims to see the current picture of recruitment in Indonesia. The research used survey method which was then analyzed thematically. Research subjects were 46 participants who worked in the field of recruitment with varied rank and seniority. The main findings related to the recruitment process are summarized based on participant responses. First, the majority of respondents argued that recruitment is currently very challenging considering on one hand the presence of less qualified candidates or even on the other hand the company does have a high enough demands. Second, given the budgetary problems, companies must adjust their recruitment strategies to their internal conditions. Finally, a recruit must have certain abilities such as target orientation, networking, negotiation, and analytic thinking. The results of this descriptive study can be used as a basis for further research and for recommendations on recruitment discussion forums. This study is limited to respondents from private companies, further research is suggested to increase the number of representative samples and develop more specific instruments. |

Abstract :This research aimed to obtain a description explanation about negative automatic thoughts that appear on Bandung junior high school students who are bullied. The research also described the automatic negative thoughts that was based on factors affected by bullying (from CATS questionnaire). The research involved 1261 samples of the students of 5 junior high school in Bandung. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic analysis. The results showed as many as 48 students belonging to students who experience the action of bullying with high frequency and as many as 333 students experience the act of bullying in the medium frequency. Then, based on the results of CATS questionnaires, about 8.3% of students, show that they had higher frequency the occurrence of negative automatic thoughts. It means they had a negative beliefs scheme and often experience helplessness in their daily lives. The factor analysis showed that social threat was the most contributive factor in generating negative automatic thoughts. |

Abstract :Anxiety about English is still felt in the learner at the college level, especially in dealing with reading sources in English. This study aims to see how individual factors (self-efficacy, belief, and motivation) effect the anxiety experienced by students in learning English. Research design use correlational research involving 100 students at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung from psychology faculty and faculty of education and teacher training. Sampling technique is using stratified random sampling. There are four instruments used which are Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale, Children’s Self-efficacy Scale, The Beliefs about Language Learning Inventory (BALLI) and motivation in learning english instrument. Data is analysed using statistic analysis of multiple regression. Results show that this each following variables which are self-efficacy, belief, and motivation has significant correlation with anxiety in learning English. Besides, there is also significant correlation between self-efficacy, belief, motivation and anxiety in learning English. |
